Plan the Party, Don't Exhaust Your Wallet

If you're like most of us, you've been tightening up your spending habits. But if you've got a big party to plan it might seem impossible to plan the whole thing without going overboard on spending. Well I'm here to tell you that you don't have to exhaust your wallet to plan a wonderful evening. Just follow my tips below.

1. First come up with a realistic, reasonable amount for your budget. If the party is for twenty people, you obviously will need to spend more than $20 on the evening. Once you've come up with the number, resolve not to deviate from it. If you can try to spend less than the amount

2. Now start planning the meal. You should cook everything from scratch if you really want to save money. Caterers can be incredibly expensive. Opt for less expensive, but still tasty meal choices. A delicious pasta meal can taste delectable and won't be overly expensive or time consuming. Also make sure that you are accurately accessing your own cooking skills. Don't take on a meal plan that requires cooking skills that you don't possess.

3. Next do all of your shopping about a week in advance. That way you won't be stressed trying to find good deals last minute. Also cut coupons and shop for common ingredients at discount food stores. Only head to gourmet shops for unique, must-have items.
