Stag Nights - Tips to Maintain Decorum and Enjoyment Together

You must have witnessed quite a few articles on how to plan a stag party, whom to invite and where to go, etc, etc. You might have even come across people telling you to maintain decorum. Fun and discipline cannot exist in the same place at the same time. For a stag party, 'behaving' will not make sense, at least not after couple of rounds at the bar. Yet, you need to be bit civilized for your own sake.

Most parties are synonymous with drinking, adventure sports, boisterous behavior and strippers. Whatever you do, do it in the company of your own stag group and not in front of the public. While organizing such a party it is advisable to have at least one person among your group to be sober enough to take you home, pay for the food and drinks and keep you blokes together.

If you have the plan of inviting the elders, like the dad and the father in law, then you are expected to behave yourself. You can have them around for the food and drinks. Nevertheless, make sure they are not around for your little naughty party, dares and dress up sessions. This way you will not only be good boys in the eyes of your in law, but also have kept your sense of humor alive!

These days, you can see some couples going in for hen or stag nights. It is a combined party in the same location, but usually different bars. They eat and have fun together, but carry out a separate activity session. The bride to be might not want a stripper and the groom to be might not want the hen near him during the stag party.

During such situations, it would be best to have a good time together and keep mum about your party ideas. You should not be obligated to reveal if there are things in the party schedule that she might not approve of. Just laugh away, lay a little and keep that smile stuck on your face. You would love what you are doing and you wouldn't have to behave either!

The biggest problems related to manners come while partying abroad. The culture is new and not every city is polite towards stags. In such a case to smooth up the rough edges, learn few phrases in the native tongue of the city you are visiting. Use them while ordering and buy stuff. This will help to change their attitude towards you for good. If you find the environment still hostile, move away to a friendlier location and laugh the situation away.
