Kiss Good Bye to Bachelorhood With a Stag Party
A Stag Night or a Bachelor party, as it is popularly known, is the perfect way to bid farewell to bachelorhood and enjoy the last of the men things that the wife may not approve of. The first thing that comes to mind when you are thinking of organizing a stag party is that it can go absolutely crazy, what will all the over excited men playing some of the naughtiest pranks on the would- be groom. So if you are the one who is the stag, then at least you would be prudent to plan it before hand. In that way, you would at least know what is coming for you, but then again be prepared for some of the choicest surprises that your friends might decide to include at the last moment!
Venue: Ideally, a stag night should be hosted at least fifteen days prior to the wedding. The place and time for the party should be decided beforehand, and the venue can be anywhere from a pub to a nightclub, though if you want to it to be private with just some select friends, then you can rent a farmhouse or a cabin and stock it with all the things that you may need.
Budget: Instead of just a Stag Night, which would all about be consuming gallons of alcohol and a hang- over in the morning, you can also organize an entire Stag weekend, if your budget is high. You might drive around to the countryside to a farmhouse where it will just be you and your friends with no one to hold you back or you can also rent a club with accommodation for the weekend.
Entertainment: As far as the entertainment is concerned, you can go for hiking and river rafting in the morning and spend the day exploring the countryside. The major entertainment is of course at night, and it is up to the best man and the best friends of the groom to organize funny games and daring acts to spend the night.
Just keep in mind that when a pack of young testosterone filled men, gather together for a night of uninhibited fun, things are likely to get out hand. So it would be wise to have a responsible member in your group, who may not necessarily be dull enough to ruin the party with words of caution every ten minutes, can at least hold back a little and take care of unexpected situations like a drunken brawl or a throw- up. Also do keep a first aid kit by hand, just in case.
