Cornhole Can Enhance Your Next Outdoor Party

If you throw many outdoor parties you may need a form of recreation that your guests can enjoy. A cornhole board is easy to purchase and anyone can find this type of game to purchase and enjoy. You may want to fill corn bags, or you can easily use bean bags, and you will then be able to begin playing the game of cornhole immediately. You do not have to worry about a long set up time and once you have the tools for the game, you will be able to set up and start playing this fun game.

It has been debated where cornhole originated from. It has been said that people begin playing cornhole in Germany many years ago, but other people say the origins are in Cincinnati. It is largely unknown exactly where cornhole originated, but one thing is for sure, the game is very addictive and fun to play.

The cornhole board you use should be four feet by two feet as this is regulation. Some people may choose to make their own cornhole board, but it may be much easier to use a premade board and many of these are very affordable. A hole needs to be made in the end of the board and this is where you are going to try to get the bag to go through. This hole needs to be measured at nine inches and this is the standard board for the game of cornhole.

There should be at least two people to play cornhole and you can play with more people on a team. The corn bags you need should be at least one pound and there should be eight total. You will want to make four bags one color and the other four a different color. These two colors will represent each team and this is how you will be able to tell them apart.

The first player in cornhole will throw all four of their bags during their turn. Once all four of the bags are thrown, the next player will step up and throw all four of their bags. These are known as innings and one inning will be completed before the opposing player will start their inning.
