Taking children on a holiday trip can be quite a task. Buy hey, it is not like they are a liability or anything, but just that, they need special care when it comes to being out of home. The environment at home is set to perfection for your child, does the hotel have similar facilities. Why should you bother with finding a cottage that gives that kind of facility? A holiday will be perfect only if you and your kids find the place of stay enjoyable and comfortable.

Few concrete reasons to look for child friendly hotels/cottages

Apart from the comfort factor, there are few reasons you may never want to overlook while travelling with a kid. First reason is safety concerns. Kids tend to run about here and there like a bubble bee and are quite difficult to predict. If it happens to be located on a busy street or in an accident- prone area, you can imagine the consequences.

Second, child friendly cottages will have sitters to take care of your kid in case you need to run some personal errands or go to an adult only party. The rooms should have - safe locks, low beds or stairs to climb up the bed with night lighting. Bed guards around the bed will be an added advantage. Curtain lined windows to cut off line and heat when not required. For toddlers, baby monitor facility can be helpful.

For feeding and eating, the menu should comprise of some nice and healthy baby/child food. Also, the chairs should be high and comfortable. In case of babies, sterilizer equipment is must.

For this, kids to play, safe swimming pools with gears, safe soft toys and an outdoor play area should make the location perfect.
