As an essential factor of culture, music varies from one tradition to another. It can actually be considered as a primary determinant as far as getting to know one's culture is concerned. The truth is people get a clear picture of the kind of culture and traditions a group of people or a particular country has depending on the type of songs or the kind of music that they play. Americans have made a major impact on the music of the world and the world of music as it introduced a lot of genres that deviated from the classical genres of music introduced by the Europeans ever since the start of man's history. Most of the genres introduced by the Americans and have been steering the music world include R&B, hip hop, and Pop. The same goes true for other countries of the East like China and Korea that have been making noise in the music world with their innovations in music and pop culture. In South America, one of the most prominent sounds that resonate and that have influence other genres of songs comes from Brazil.

Even though it has a certain feel that it's from the Latin America, Brazil Song happens to define what Latin music is all about. Although it can be contested that Mexican songs really define what Latin music is, some cultural anthropologists debate on the authenticity of Mexican songs as purely Latin American because of the heavy influence of Hispanic origins that have played a major role in the cultures and traditions of Mexico. Perhaps, it can be said that among the Latin American countries, Brazil has produced several genres of music that have affected the entire world the same as the Americans did.

Two of the most popular genres of music that are originally Brazilian and that have been playing on the airwaves throughout the world are Bossa Nova and Samba. These two Brazil Song are exactly opposite in terms of their beat and tempo, but these have Brazil in its blood. Bossa Nova is a slow and mellow type of music that is known to have a very relaxing effect. On the other hand, a Samba is a very upbeat type of music that relies heavily on the beat of the drums or congas.
