5 Most Popular Teenage Birthday Party Ideas For Teen Girls

Here are 5 popular teenage birthday party themes for girls to help you get started planning their next party.

1) Mall Scavenger Hunt: What do teenage girls love? Hanging out at the mall! This theme idea is a blast and works great for teenage girls between 12 and 16 years old. What you do is go to the mall a few days before, and come up with ten clues by looking in the stores, the food court, etc.

On the day of the party (depending on age) let them do the scavenger hunt on their own. Divide them into groups and set them off to hunt down the clues! In the case of the pizza, you may send your teen out with money, so she can actually purchase the pizza and they can all have it for lunch.

2) Teenage Game Mega Party: A mega party is all about the games! It can be teen girls and guys and it's best if they have a big enough space, like a basement or rec room for the party. What you do is before the birthday, come up with a list of 20 or 30 teenage birthday party games. Set up all the supplies needed and the instructions on how to do them.

When it comes time for the mega party, it's time for you to bow out though! Keep an "ear" on things from a nearby room, but give them some privacy. The games theme will keep the teen boys interested in the party which will make your birthday girl very happy!

3) Spa Party: It doesn't get better than a spa party! Go to a shop like Bath and Body Works and pick up a variety of products or a few sampler packs. On the birthday day, have all the teens have an at-home pampered spa experience.

Make iced mint tea with fresh mint leaves and rose petals in it. Give the girls the equipment for a facial scrub, a facial lotion, eyebrow tweezing and a pedicure. Then let them have at it! The invitation could request that they bring a bathrobe and a hair wrap to complete the look and feel.

4) Princess Birthday: Yeah. This is a teenage party ideas article, and I did say princess! A princess theme isn't just for little girls. Think almost grown up princess. You can go in several directions with this one. Ideas are "Spoiled Rotten Princess", "Diva Princess", "Perfect Princess". Basically a few tiaras (from Claire's or Ice at the mall rather than a party store), and lots of glitzy, fun decorations in pink. The more sparkles the better! I promise, you're girl ain't too old for a princess party!

5) Masquerade Ball: It doesn't have to be as fancy as it sounds. But it is a masquerade party. Everyone must wear a mask. This is a great idea if it is a mixed party with guys and girls. The teenage girls can really get into the spirit of it, and wear fancy gowns. It helps if you have a large enough space for a makeshift dance floor.

This movie is great for both girls and boys and will certainly inspire them to defeat all obstacles.

Sand, magic carpets, lamps, and genies are the just a few of the things that make this movie spectacular. Aladdin follows the story of a poor beggar somewhere in Arabia. Somewhere between wishes number two and three, he falls in love with the princess, fights a gigantic snake, and goes on a magic carpet ride. This movie is another one that has great music and a great story line that your kids are going to simply adore.

Firework Displays - About Fireworks

Firework displays present opportunities for some really beautiful sights, and are used all around the world to celebrate a variety of holidays and events. There are many different kinds of fireworks used in displays today, as well as different elements of fireworks that go into the displays. Here, we'll take a look at some of the different parts of the firework, as well as some of the various types you're likely to see at a given display.

Fireworks essentially consist of a shell that is placed into a launcher device and fired upwards. There is a mine on the bottom that sends the fireworks up, and then pyrotechnic devices on the top that produce a variety of effects. Most devices produce stars, which are the points of light that issue out from the centre of the blast. Some have tails, or an effect called a comet, which travel behind stars and hang in the air. There are other effects like smoke, noise, and light flashes that can be used to augment firework displays. A salute firework, for example, is used primarily for the flash of light and loud boom.

Some of the more common types of effects found in most firework displays are variants on a few major types. The radial sphere or flower types are broken into several subcategories - all are essentially a shell that is launched straight up and then explodes after a certain point, sending stars out in all directions. The peony, for example, is a spherical break with no tail, while the dahlia has larger stars but fewer of them. The chrysanthemum has a spherical break with a comet effect, while the willow's stars droop as they fall. There are also two-dimensional effects like rings, hearts, clovers, and even smiley faces. Multiple shells can be combined to create colour contrasts, such as the diadem (which has a non-moving burst of stars in the centre), or the crossette, which shoots out stars that split into smaller ones.

Another popular type of shell found in firework displays is the spider, which has fast-burning stars that shoot out very fast, creating straight lines. The horsetail, on the other hand, lasts a long time and droops down (it is also called the waterfall). There are many different types of fireworks used today, and they come in virtually every colour and shape imaginable. Fireworks are a chance to create beautiful works of art.

Cornhole For Your Next Family Gathering

A family gathering provides an opportunity to get together with relatives that you may not see on a regular basis, or to spend time with the people you love the most in this world. Cornhole is a great way for a family to bond and play a game that is very addictive and easy to learn. If you have not heard yet about Cornhole you will want to learn how easy it can be to set this game up and play in no time.

Cornhole involves a board with a hole in one end. There are specific dimensions that need to be followed in order to have a true cornhole board. You can either make or buy the bean bags that are required and one pound of sand, corn, or beans can be added to complete the game.

Once your cornhole game is setup, you are then ready to start playing and the rules are as simple as the setup. Each person is assigned four bags to toss and one player will complete throwing each of their bags before the next player can begin their turn. The goal is to reach 21 and the first person that does this is declared the winner. When you toss the bag and it makes it through the hole, it is worth three points. When the bag is tossed and it lands on the board, it is worth one point. There is no other ways to score during this game and you either want to land in the hole, or at least make it on the board in order to score the needed points. Once the player steps up to throw, they have 20 seconds to complete the throw and score the points.

A pitchers box is often created so that the players know where to stand and this box needs to be 33 feet away from the playing board. It is good to have one person that is a type of referee that can do the scorekeeping and timing. There have been some terms that are deemed in the game and when players disagree on the score, or rules, it is called "cornfusion". If a player throws all four bags and they land on the board, but not in the hole it is called a "leprechaun". A "cow pie" is when the bag lands on the board during the toss, but not in the hole. No one wants to receive a "Sally" and this is a way to be made fun of, this is when you throw the bag short and it does not land in the hole, or on the board. Knowing the lingo can make the game more fun.

Cornhole Can Enhance Your Next Outdoor Party

If you throw many outdoor parties you may need a form of recreation that your guests can enjoy. A cornhole board is easy to purchase and anyone can find this type of game to purchase and enjoy. You may want to fill corn bags, or you can easily use bean bags, and you will then be able to begin playing the game of cornhole immediately. You do not have to worry about a long set up time and once you have the tools for the game, you will be able to set up and start playing this fun game.

It has been debated where cornhole originated from. It has been said that people begin playing cornhole in Germany many years ago, but other people say the origins are in Cincinnati. It is largely unknown exactly where cornhole originated, but one thing is for sure, the game is very addictive and fun to play.

The cornhole board you use should be four feet by two feet as this is regulation. Some people may choose to make their own cornhole board, but it may be much easier to use a premade board and many of these are very affordable. A hole needs to be made in the end of the board and this is where you are going to try to get the bag to go through. This hole needs to be measured at nine inches and this is the standard board for the game of cornhole.

There should be at least two people to play cornhole and you can play with more people on a team. The corn bags you need should be at least one pound and there should be eight total. You will want to make four bags one color and the other four a different color. These two colors will represent each team and this is how you will be able to tell them apart.

The first player in cornhole will throw all four of their bags during their turn. Once all four of the bags are thrown, the next player will step up and throw all four of their bags. These are known as innings and one inning will be completed before the opposing player will start their inning.

Cornhole is a great way to build relationships and make your next get together an unforgettable one. People may look forward to getting together with you to play cornhole and you may start quite the fad.
