Theme Up the 'Hen'tertainment Party

If you are reading about themes for your hen party, it means you have decided the date, the venue, number of people and are now looking for themes to decide on the activities. That is when you should be looking for themes. A template for the hen party would help in setting the mood. It will also help you focus on activities related to the themes.

There are packages in tour parties that arrange for themes. However, you can always choose for your themes and highly personalized them too. The party props also act as parting gifts for the fellow hens who can take back something to remember the good times.

While deciding on the theme, try to keep it simple. Too much emphasis in the theme will shift the focus from the hen. That is the most disastrous thing anyone could do for a bride to be! The theme is to set the mood. So choose it carefully. You could use themes like the police officer, angel, devil, L board, etc.

Make a checklist and get all the props necessary for the theme-based activities. If there are costumes involved, everybody should be handed over their costumes based on their sizes in advance or one person should be in charge of all the props and costumes. Don't be too showy else, the bouncer is going to block the way. Some nightclubs have dress code. Before you reserve any venue for that matter make sure you inform of your 'themed' hen do.

Practicality in the costumes is necessary. Since the costumes will be worn almost all through the night and would involve doing all sorts of things in that including dancing and staggering in the high, get costumes that are practical and comfortable for everybody.

Some common themes are:

Policewomen theme: It is a common theme and doesn't involve many props. Just a scarf and a fancy police hat would do. This will set you apart from the rest in a crowded pub. A twist to this would be going pink.

Angel theme: satisfy all the 'dress up' hunger with the wings and halos. A twist would be to add horns and tails instead of halos.

If you are hiring a tour operator for the hen night, then inform them of your plan. You could also include two different themes for the two nights of the hen weekend. Inform the sizes of your group. This might involve a little more money, but in the end, everyone will love it!

Themes set the mood. It will help you to decide on some pranks and naughty stuffs related to this theme to do on the hen's night. Hen dos give you the license to dress up crazy and go bonkers. Do not let the opportunity slide away. Use it to think of the most hilarious yet practical themes to dress the bride to be in!
