Create Your Own Beach Themed Party Favors For Guests

Throwing a beach themed party or wedding is a great way to celebrate that special occasion. Below you will find a few cool ideas to use as party favors to give to your guests to say thank you.

Bookmarks

You can easily make your own bookmarks using a word document and inserting long text boxes into the document to make four bookmarks per page. You can type in some cute beach sayings onto your bookmarks such as "Gone to the Beach" or "At the Beach" or something else cute. If this is for a wedding you can simply place the bride and groom's name on the top with their wedding date.

After you have the text planned out, copy a picture from either clip art or one of your own personal beach pictures and paste it into your homemade bookmark.

Save your bookmark template onto some removable hardware and take it to a printer and make color copies! Lastly, you just need to get the bookmarks laminated for a nice finished and professional look. Punch some holes into your bookmark and add a pretty satin ribbon and you are done.

This is an easy and very cheap way to make party favors for wedding guests, sweet sixteen parties or anniversary celebrations as well.

Seashell Place Card Holders

These are very popular wedding favors that serve two purposes; they are decorative and fully functional to mark your guests table setting.

Instead of spending the money, you can opt to make your own. You will need some very pretty seashells which can be ordered in bulk online and you will also need a hot glue gun and some very small single pronged hair clips in a silver color.

Use the hot glue gun to affix your hair clip to either the top of your seashell or hidden on the side. You just need to play around with the clip to properly fit it without looking awkward. Just make sure you can slip in a place card so it is visible when people pass by to find their seats.

As an extra option, you could get some glue and use it to cover the hair clip with sparkles to hide it or give it some extra decoration. You might even want to glue on some very thin ribbons onto your clip as another option to hide it from view.
